Clint Waasted is Founder and Chairman of the Board for EMI Foundation. Clint brings over 10 years experience in legal education, technology business development, and legal and business management to his role at EMI.
Clint is currently Senior Business Development Manager at Zynga, Inc., the industry's leading developer and publisher of mobile and social gaming. Prior to working at Zynga, he spent 8 years managing the Legal and Business Affairs department at two major game development studios (Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal) for Square Enix Europe, negotiating and structuring complex technical and business partnerships and licenses.
Clint is also a Lecturer at Law, teaching negotiation and mediation at both Boalt Hall School of Law at UC Berkeley and UC Hastings College of Law. At UC Hastings, Clint has been Head of the prestigious Competition Negotiation and Mediation Program for the Center of Negotiation and Dispute Resolution (CNDR) since 2007. Clint designed and structured the Program from the bottom up, writing all curriculum and developing individually-tailored multi-year ADR education plans for his students. Under Clint's guidance and leadership, UC Hastings competition teams have earned dozens of international and national championships. Clint's innovations in mediation and negotiation education helped CNDR earn recognition by US News & World Report as one of the top 10 ADR programs in the nation.
Clint is a graduate of Pomona College and UC Hastings. When Clint is not furthering his mission to enhance focus on interest-based negotiation and dispute resolution, he enjoys music, photography, and traveling the world.
